http://www.doctorslounge.com/forums/
You can then select the particular forum that you
wish to browse.
2. Ask a doctor
UPDATE: As of February 12th 2010 new registrations to ask questions have been temporarily closed!
We will announce that we are accepting new questions on our twitter page. Please follow us on twitter to receive immediate notification: http://twitter.com/DoctorsLounge
Doctors Lounge receives hundreds of questions on a daily basis. Currently our health professional members & volunteers are working on the unanswered questions backlog.
To use the ask a doctor feature you need to
register on the doctor forums. You can either click on the forum registration link below
or click on the register button on the forum pages to create
an account (found on the top navigation bar).
Once you log in you
will be sent to our forum index page.
You must then choose an appropriate forum
to ask your question.
In order to ask a question you must click on the new
topic button as shown in the image below (DO NOT CLICK 'ASK A
DOCTOR' LINK AGAIN - IT WILL BRING YOU BACK HERE):

Please ask one question at a time
and wait for a response before posting again.
Please remember that
this feature is for free, we do not approve every question we
receive. In order to make sure you have a better chance for getting
an approval we kindly request that you read the
forum rules. Not doing so creates an unnecessary burden
on our doctors and could get you banned.
IMPORTANT RULES:
-
Forum titles such as
"Help!" / "stomach question" will NOT be approved. Put
the main question in your title - this raises the chances that
an appropriate health professional will identify and reply to
your question.
-
Emergency conditions
are not approved - a website is NOT the appropriate
medium to deal with these conditions and you are requested to
call 911.
-
One question at a time
please.
-
Do not post the same
question more than once. Your posts will be deleted and you will
be permanently banned from using the forums.
-
Post any follow-up replies
in the original thread.
-
Keep your posts as short
and as to the point as possible.
Help us keep this service free
Before asking a new question please
take the time to look for questions in the forums below that are
similar to yours. This will prevent us from having to repeat
ourselves unnecessarily at a time when our resources are strained.
By doing so you are helping us to keep this service free for the
benefit of everyone. Thank you.
