In a person that normally has elevated cholesterol and triglycerides would a test show normal levels if the person had not eaten in several days?

Hello Toy - It is entirely possible that someone with normally elevated cholesterol levels could have a lab result of normal after having fasted for an inordinate length of time (several days) although the result would probably depend upon how high the usual levels are. This would, of course, be a misleading result.
I hope this is helpful.
