hi im 17 and I had a Panic attack on saturday after not sleepingon friday, doing a load of coke, some energy drinks and Headache pills. I thought I was dying and I went completely numb and had to go to hospital. since then, when ive laid down in bed to sleep, my heart RACES to a worrying point where I cant sleep at all, and when im lying there with my heart racing sometimes it skips beats or something which gives me a little tightness in my chest and panic.

ive worked out for myself that this seems to be Anxiety, but im only 17 and this shit is rly starting to get me down.

I also get weirdness with my heart at other times during the day but ive noticed it extra bad when I try to sleep.

Dear Hector,
The next time you hear the word Coke think DEATH. Coke will kill you. It destroys the electrical pathways in your heart and will lead to death. These are pathways that directly drive your heart - and once destroyed are not replaced by the body. If you are do addicted you cannot stop - please seek help in the community from substance abuse detox systems who can give you the tools to quit. I watched a 20 something young man with two small babies at home take a year to die. The last 6 months was more in than out of the hospital. And the babies were not allowed to visit - so he missed 6 months of their growing up - and then died alone at night one night in an intensive care unit.
Yes, your symptoms sound clearly linked to cocaine usage - I care for 2-3 young men from the age of 17 to 40 every week with compliants of Chest pain Sometimes we are in time. Sometimes - NOT.
Please don't be a number in the next statistic.
