Question: Chest Pain/Tachycardia

Hello. I'm 24 years old and was released from the hospital earlier this week. I went to the ER because I had intense sharpness, tightening, pain in the center of my chest. On the way to the ER it began to ache on the left side of my chest. My heart rate was near 200 when they hooked me up to the moniters. They gave me adivan and after a few hours my heart rate was near 160.
I also had some other symptoms. For the last few months my ankles have been swelling periodically and I have been feeling tingling in my toes - especially left side and big toe. They seemed to think this was not related at all and I never heard anything more about my Chest pain.
I quit smoking, drinking caffeine while I was in the hospital and they released me by telling me that I have Tachycardia that has a mind of its own.
Now, later in the week. I don't feel my heartbeat giving me trouble, but the Chest pain continues. It is happening more frequently at night. I feel Short of breath and when I push in on the center of my chest (a little to the left, near the top of my sternum) the pain becomes worse. The tingling in the toes is happening every night and I feel as if I am not getting circulation to my feet.
I'm very scared and all I have been told is that I'm too young. I question myself on whether I should get a second opinion soon or wait a month for my next check up.

I also wanted to add a that I am not on any type of medication, birth control, etc. and have not been on any type of medication. I was a smoker and a would drink around 3 sodas a day. I have quit both smoking and cafeine completely.
