I have experience this twice, where I am dreaming about something and a start feeling a painfull sharp pain on my chest. I get wake up only half awake and i still feel it, but when i wake up completely the pain is gone. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Dear Soundtech,
i think that this might be something related to the dream itself, sometimes during dreaming, one would experience a strong heart beating sensation that can be preceived as chest discomfort or pain especially if you are awakened suddenly.
If this condition continues, it would not be a bad idea to mention it to your primary care provider.
