I AM 73 YEARS OLD, FEEL GREAT, RUN EVERY DAY EXCEPT SUNDAY 6 MILES. DOCTOR DETECTED HEART MURMUR AT PHYSICAL AND HAD AN 2-D CARDIAC ECHO WITH DOPPLER ULTRASOUND.DONE. FOUND MILD CALCIFIC AORTIC STENOSIS IN ATRILEAFLET AORTIC VALVE WITH 1+ REGURGATION.
1+TRISCUPID REGURGATION AT 2.3 METERS PER SECOND WITH A PRESSURE OF 21 MM/hG.(NORMAL PULMINARY PRESSURES)TIC VALVE WITH ASSOCIATED LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY AND A TRACE OF AORTIC REGURGITATION. AND A 1+ MITRAL REGURGITATION AND PULMONIC REGURGITATION AND TRISCUSPID REGURGITATION.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL THIS MEANS, I HAVE NO SYMPTOMS OF ANY KIND, GREAT LUNG CAPACITY, REALLY ENJOY RUNNING OUTSIDE.
SHOULD I STOP MY EXCERCISE PROGRAM THAT I HAVE BEGUN TO LOVE AFTER 20 YEARS? MY DOCTOR WONT ADVISE, PLEASE HELP.
THANK YOU BOB

The vlavulopathies which you have are insignificant, but you need treatment regarding the left ventricular hypertrophy with abtihypetrtsive drugs depending on your blood pressure profile & pulse rate(the average) after multiple readings, but you have to continue excercise as usual
