Question: Marks and discoloration on glans of penis

UniqueByDesign - Mon Feb 06, 2006 8:03 am Bookmark and Share

Hi I'm 22, and I have had some brown marks on the glans my penis for 8 or so years now and thought nothing of them (they don't affect me functionality wise). The marks are dark brown and almost take up half the glans on either side. I am circumcised, due to phimosis and put the marks down to scarring. Anyways, for piece of mind I went to visit a urologist who told me that I shouldn't be concerned and that it probably is just scarring. However, I don't think this is the case because the brown marks are expanding and the glans is becoming more discolored. The urologist prescribed some kenacomb ointment cream, which didn't do anything. What are my options here? (if any) These marks are quite unsightly and I would like to get them removed or at least stop them from expanding. It seems to be quite a rare case because I can't find any information at all on this condition. Thank you for your assistance
