 norm2174 - Fri Feb 10, 2006 2:50 am

30 yr old mail have had itchy red groin area for years now it seems to be all around the base where the genitals meet the leg on both sides upper corners the worst and moves outward from there both right and left sides in on top of base in pubic hair area. It itches all day but night time is the worst. It itches all night long and even when sound asleep or wake up doing it. i itch it raw daily or nightly which burns and itches worse the next day. sometimes out of the shower seems worse. If i drink alchohol and get drunk i am told i do it nonstop in my sleep very rough and itch the whole area including genitals and usually have dry skin on the bed. my genitals (sak) seems to get really rough feeling skin at times and even gets a few purple spots sometimes??. I was embarrased and been to the doctor a couple times once said jock itch but jock itch spray burns very much and then told fungul infection and was given a very powerfull anti fungal pill (had to have a liver test to take it) but none of this helped or worked it seems to tingle/itch and burn all day now and of course at night i have tried every lotion, creme and( powder seems to dry and crack everytihing )out there and nothing helps i feel hopeless and try not to itch it but wake up every night still itching and not knowing it some nights anus itching occurs with this can anything be done to help? its terrible
