Question: Swollen, itchy eyelids

In the past couple of weeks, my eyelids have become swollen, Itchy and scaley. I have not changed my makeup, cleansers or moisterizers, and the swelling has not gone down.
I am female, 46, in great heath and am on no medications. I have not had any skin conditions to date. I had allergies a good 20 years ago where I would break out in hives but that is long gone. Family history is strong - no major medical problems to speak of.

 You may have developed a new allergy, even though you have not changed any of the products. This occasionally happens. I would recommend an evaluation by your doctor. Physical examination provides so much information when dealing with skin issues that it is difficult to be able to get a good sense over the internet.
Other possibilities include Eczema and seborrheic Dermatitis.
