Question: Blister like lump

I have a small (approx. 1cm) oval eruption on the left side of my stomach, which is similar in appearance to a blister from a cigarette burn, but is hard to the touch. It is not painful but is unsightly. It has been there for a few months now. Any ideas?
I am a 55 year old male.

I'm afraid I cannot be much help in your diagnosis but I would recommend that you have your lump evaluated. My one thought would be to make sure that it is not a type of skin cancer since the lump is hard and painless.
Perhaps some of my colleagues may be of more assistance to you. Keep us updated.
