I am an 18 year old female who has had stress rashes on my ankle and shin for several months now. I have been working on not scratching them and they are fading somewhat. However, last week I started developing a rash on the underside of my jaw. I took an antihistomine, but it is still Itching. I was prescribed a steroid creme for the ones on my legs, but it didn't work and I won't put it on my face. Any ideas how to get rid of these?

Hello,
This could be Hives.
-HIVES, is a skin reaction to an allergen, medicine or infection. They may also occur in very nervous people.
The lesions are in the form of raised, red, Itchy areas of the skin (red bumps) that may be present anywhere on the face or body.
Spontaneous recovery is usual but it may last from a few hours to several weeks or months.
Antihistamines are the main treatment for hives to reduce the allergic response. The proper dose and treatment schedule is prescribed by specialized Doctor for optimum treatment response. Improvement usually starts few days after starting adequate therapy.
Of utmost importance is the identification of the precipitating cause and to avoid it.
Follow up with your doctor is essential.
Best regards.
