I'm a 39 yr old female with a husband that was told that he had molluscum contagoisum a year ago. Now I have what looks like skin tags inside my vulva (you know) and what I think are hemorriods. Could this all be related to the molluscum warts, also I was told that once you are treated, lasered off, that they are gone and in order for the warts to come back he had to have been reinfected. And is it possible to get these warts other than sexual contact? He claims he's faithful..not sure what to believe anymore
thanks for your help

The virus can spread from one part of the body to another or to other people. Molluscum contagiosum is contagious until the bumps are gone—which, if untreated, may be up to 6 months or longer.
Individual lesions of molluscum contagiosum usually disappear within about 2 - 3 months. Complete disappearance of all lesions generally occurs within about 6 - 18 months. The disorder may persist .
Total abstinence is the only foolproof way of avoiding molluscum virus and other STDs.
