Question: acid burn injury

i am 19 years old female.
I have accedently acid (nitric acid) burn injury on my ankle (foot) recently 3 weaks ago.
my bone is safe but acid remove my skin from ankle & exposed my bone from that area.
i take orally medine name " ospamox " 500mg
& used " bactigras " for dressing.
could you please advice me how to recover from this injury quickly , any treatment or any other medicine.
please help me i am waiting for reply as soon as possible.

User avatar I am sorry you did not receive a prompt response.

It sounds like you are doing a good job caring for the burn but it would be best if you could see a doctor about it. There are some burn treatments that might be indicated but you would need a doctor to make that determination on exam.

Eating healthy food is important for proper healing so that is one thing you can do to help your tissues repair themselves.

Be alert to signs of infection, a major complication of burns.
