About 2 years ago I had a bump on my forehead surgically removed and was told it was a benign collagen deposit. A similar bump has appeared recently and I'm wondering what causes collagen deposits and if there are non-surgical treatment options. I'm also wondering if this could be related to diet or other factors.

Hi Jean1958,
Most of these types of lumps are harmless and can develop for uncertain reasons. It is unlikely that anything you are doing would be causing these. They are typically harmless but they may show up randomly. Generally, these would need to be removed surgically if removal is desired.
I would suggest you have your doctor take a look at this when you are in next.
Best wishes.
