I am 37 year old female No medical problems or medications. No family history of skin problems.
One week ago my left leg became intensely itchy for a brief period, over the next few days I had continual nerve pain from the top of my leg near my inguinal ligament throughout the top, front side of my thigh. The skin was very sensitive but no longer very itchy. At the time I was also having low back pain and thought it might have been related to that.
After another few days I developed three small patchy rashes just below my inguinal area that have now developed pin-head sized blisters. The rash isn't spreading but the rash as well as the whole leg continues to be sensitive and slightly painful.
It looks a bit like the eczema my boyfriend gets but I have never had eczema and have been under very little stress. I have not had contact with any unusual insects, animals or new kinds of soap or clothing. Thanks...

Hi Tracerb,
It sounds like you may have a shingles outbreak. I would recommend you see your doctor to have this evaluated. There are a few other possibilities that could be causing this such as a contact dermatitis.
Best wishes.
