Question: CHRONIC BODY ODOR?

BITTERSWEET - Mon Sep 20, 2004 4:03 pm Bookmark and Share

HI,,
This is very embarrasing for me to talk about but I desperately need help!!
I have had b.o. problems since I was in the sixth grade. I am now 35 and still have this problem. I don't understand what is going on. I shower everyday and take good care of myself. I have tried everything known to man to get rid of this. Even trying mineral salts, hospital cleansers, antibacterial soaps and nothing helps. I don't know what else to do. I went to a dermatologist and he had no idea. I've searched online and it seems that kidney and liver problems can cause this but I've had them both checked and their okay. Can someone please help?

User avatar Dear Jody,

The best thing i can think of is that sometimes some foods or the combination of certain foods can give your sweat a bad odor. One famous example is bastramy.

Thank you very much for using our website http://doctorslounge.com and i hope that this information helped.

Yasser Mokhtar, M.D.
