Question: Medical Term -- i need help

I am taking my 23rd of 26 tests and I am stuck on one term that is keeping me from passing this test. I need the medical term for the following
"area of dead tissue caused by decrease blood flow to a part of the body"

can anyone help?? please???? :?

Are you referring to necrotic tissue? That is tissue that decays from lack of blood to the area. Or perhaps you are looking for decubitus ulcer which is the medical term for bedsore. A bedsore is an ulcer of the skin and deeper tissues caused by pressure on the area keeping blood from reaching the area. Hope this helps you.
