 c_oneill - Wed Sep 03, 2008 3:34 pm

when my skin is pressed hard or lightly scratched after a few seconds after it goes white where i have touched or scratched. it stays like that for 5 to 10 mins after. which doesn't seem right. do you think this could be a problem?

User avatar Hello,
This does sound a little long for capillary refill and it can be associated with circulatory problems such as Reynaud's disease. If you you haven't had a general physical exam recently it would be a good idea to do so and to discuss your concerns with your provider.

Best wishes.
