I recently had a medical abortion, and I am scheduled to have a thyroid check up for my Hashimoto's disease exactly 2 weeks after the date of the abortion. Will my recent pregnancy affect my blood test results?

Hello, Hormones are all connected and you can have widely fluctuating thyroid levels with this disorder but I would not expect a problem with the testing. It is important to see what you need in the way of thyroid replacement at this time, regardless of the recent pregnancy. You should however, inform your doctor of the procedure since thyroid levels do change with pregnancy and your doctor may wish to recheck a little later.
Best wishes.
Best wishes.
