Hello. I am a male and am 19 years old, however i look much younger than my age. People tell me I look like a 16 year old. This is a cause for much distress in my life, as I am in college, but do not look like the typical college student. What could be the reason for my young looks?

Hi!
The most common cause of short stature is Constitutional Growth Delay.
Although CGD is a variant of normal growth rather than a disorder, delays in growth and sexual development may contribute to psychological difficulties, warranting treatment for some individuals.
Medical treatment of this variation of normal growth is not necessary, but it may be initiated in adolescents experiencing psychosocial distress http://www.emedicine.com
