Question: Why do I fall asleep every time I eat?

iNDieS - Sun Aug 02, 2009 1:15 pm Bookmark and Share

I'm a 30 year old male and fall asleep every time I eat. No matter if it's a full meal or a light snack, I fall asleep within the next hour. I have a high metabolism ( 6'0" and 130 lbs.) and wandered if that could have anything to do with it. Am I possibly becoming diabetic? Anything, please help. Thanks!

User avatar If the food eaten contains more carbohydrates, you would experience symptoms mentioned.Try with more vegetable based diets. No relationship to prediabetes.
