i have recently been diagnosed with abnormally high morning cortisol levels but afternoon level is normal. i was being treated unsucessfully for hashimoto disease but tfurther testing shows the cortisol abnormality. i am generally unstressed
what do you think is the underlying problem?

I am not an endocrinologist but I'll try to help. A few questions: Was your cortisol test collected from urine? blood? How did your doctor interpret them? How high were they in comparision to the normal range?
