Question: Breast growth and hormones etc..

 Alexis18 - Fri May 13, 2005 11:38 am

Hello everybody, I hope you can help me with a problem I have..

I am an 18 year old female. I have very small breasts (30A) I would like to be a full B or slightly larger. I do not want the extreme way of opting for breast implants. I know that transexuals take hormones to develop breasts etc.. Can I, a female take these hormones? (Hormone example: oestrogen/progesterone)

Please help me. Thank you.

User avatar No. You already have those hormones, because you are female. The reason males develop breasts on estrogen is because men have only a tiny bit, not enough to feminize them. If they take a does equivalent to a female, they will grow breast tissue. Not only would it not work, there isn't a doctor in the universe that would do that. It would be dangerous. Try to be happy with what you have got, there are many more advantages to small breasts than larger.

^ Thank you for your reply..

I read on a website "..model Caroline Cossey started hormones at age 17 but owes most of her famous 36C chest to implants two years later. Conversely, while most of those women starting hormones when already in their mature years will achieve only slight Tanner II or III "AA cup" breast buds, a few will get adequate, even ample, breast development."

User avatar That website is for male to female with estrogens, not real females!!!!!!

Females ALREADY have those hormones. The body has a genetic "code" of fat distribution and how large breasts will develop, even if you took those hormones, which you won't because you aren't a male changing to female and no doc would do it for you, it wouldn't change the size of your breasts; it won't change your body's code.

Is this Caroline Cossey a real woman? If so, she is mistaken, unless she didn't go through puberty which I am sure is not the case, or she would have had NO breasts.

If she was a man, then it simply doesn't apply to you.
