I am a 20 year old male. I'm considering taking homeopathic IGF-1 for muscle size increase from weight training. My growth plates have probably closed. I was wondering if I would develop acromegaly or any other kind of disease if I took IGF-1 right now. Thanks!

Excess of IGF-1 will propably have the same side effects as taking GH therapy in adults.
Those with closed epiphysis do not develop acromegaly.
However the side effects may inculde, joint pains and swelling, heart problems, increase in blood sugar. You can minimize that with starting with very low doses and increasing up gradually.
