Question: Testosterone related to sex drive

 whajet8 - Mon Jul 23, 2007 7:28 pm

I am a 24 year old male in good health, but find that my sex drive isn't what it should be. Is it possible to have low levels of testosterone at my age? If so, what can be done?

User avatar Hi whajet8,

There are many causes of a low sex drive. Low testosterone is possible at your age, though less likely.

Other possible causes include medication side effects if you are taking any medicines, stress, past experiences, overall health level and hormone fluctuations.

Seeing your primary care physician is probably the best place to start if you wish to see a doctor about this.

Best wishes.
