can the hpv of cervical cancer cause oral cancer

my spouse has given me hpv and i developed precervical changes requiring conization and the leep. five paps have returned normal. i am still with him and we have oral sex and unprotected intercourse.since he is the carrier but i also now have the virus, can i develop oral cancer? what about if we had anal sex in the past, can it cause cancer there? can he get cancer of the penis? my gynecologist said i have the high risk hpv because of my precervical cancer.

Since cancers can appear in many places of the body, it is possible there could be an increased risk of oral cancers with this type of exposure to HPV. There are also many forms of the human papillomavirus and some are more common causes of cancer than others so there are many variables here. You should discuss this with your doctor so you can do whatever screening tests are indicated for early detection of problems.
