Obviously, I cannot rule out something as dangerous as a cardiac cause for your
chest pain over the internet, but according to your description this
chest pain is probably not secondary to
coronary disease.
Since the
pain is sharp and can increase with
coughing (movement), it is probably not your heart; it is probably musculoskeletal. Try taking
ibuprofen unless you have a history of
peptic ulcer disease, take it every 4-6 hours and see if you gets some relief. You may have to take it for several days to get full effect; antiinflammatories are accumulative.
For the burning, try some Gaviscon it's the best OTC remedy for
heartburn.
If you get absolutely no relief from either of these, see a doctor.
