PinkGenAdderall-BAD-will ins let you replace?w/new script?

Postby georgiagale » Tue Sep 09, 2008 12:24 am

Do you know if insurance will cover a different prescription ? This new pink adderall 20mg is giving me a headache, its very different from the orange, it is not smooth, and it seems wirery, should I call my doc?

I asked th epharmacy bfore I even knew it had been changed, how much brand Adderall would eb and they said they didnt carry it anyhow. The generic orange is fine, in round or oval just not this pink one. YUK

Any help appreciated. thak you - gal e

Hello -

Normally your doctor can prescribe or request either brand, generic, or a specific generic. However, many pharmacies don't carry but one generic, so you may have to find another source for your med. This does sometimes happen, too, that a certain manufacturer's generic doesn't work the same for certain patients. Tell your doctor and I'm sure he'll be able to figure out a way around this problem.
