IBS is believed to be due to an autonomic dysfunction or a hormonal imbalance that can be easily controlled by simple changes in the lifestyle, diet.
Commonly, people who have IBS complaint off
Abdominal pain or colic
A bloated abdomen
Gaseous distension
Either
Diarrhea or
Constipation or an alternating between both of them
Mucus containing stool.
A Crampy
Abdominal pain, often relieved by defecation is a common symptom of the disease.
The
pain can be felt all over the abdomen, in the left side or in the right side of the abdomen.
The symptoms and signs of IBS are very non specific and shared by many other conditions affecting the GI tract like inflammatory bowel disease.
Keep on follow up with your doctor, inform him with any new symptom or any change in the original symptoms, especially if it is not a sporadic change.
