TB+HIV+PCP, chances of my survival?

Postby pill » Mon Nov 17, 2008 7:00 am

I am 58 year old male. I had taken treatment for Tubercluosis for 60 days in the month of August . after that i have been discharged although there is no appreciable change in my weight. After that my weight is continuosly decrease and i have fever, sometimes high and sometimes low. Cough problems again started. As per doctor's suggestion i tested myself, in the month of september ,for HIV infection and it was positive. My CD4 count was 19. Then again doctor started treatment for TB, in between i developed breathing problems for which one week back i got admitted in hospital and now completely bed ridden. After three days doctor discovered that i am also suffering from Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP)and they started treatment for PCP . Now my CD4 count is 14.Today doctors started treatment for my HIV infection also. I am not able to eat anything by mouth and surviving on liquid diet. I am losing weight day by day. i am also suffering from loose motions.

What is the chances of my survival ? ?
