I am having a very bad urge to urinate and there is blood in my urine, I am uncomfortable, but not in pain. worst part is not being able to get rid of the sensation to urinate.

Hello,

There are a few possibilities. Urinary urgency is often a sign of a bladder infection. Also, with your diabetes, if your blood sugars are running high it can cause you to need to urinate more frequently.

Both these things can easily be evaluated by a urinalysis. There are other causes as well so I would recommend you see your doctor to have this evaluated further.

Best wishes.
