Vulvar Rash (Fissures) and late period

Postby haha28 » Mon Nov 10, 2008 12:02 am

For a little over a month, my vulva has been itchy and red... There are a lot of cut-like appearances on it.
The last time I got my period, the rash disappeared..But came back right after it got over...
The skin is really raw...
It doesn't really burn when I pee..
Also, my period is about a week late..
I have never had sex so this cannot be an STD of any form..
I feel it might be hormonal (After I looked this up on the net), as a couple of days ago I noticed an incredible no. of pimples on my face suddenly..
Please tell me what this might be?

Hello,
I suspect you are having some hormonal pH changes that result in a change in the normal bacteria present in the vagina. Discuss this with your doctor because you could also be getting yeast overgrowth with this alteration in the normal bacterial flora.

Good luck.
