Hello,
A number of women do have various shapes to their uteri. This is usually due to just a congenital abnormality where the organ does not develop normally. It usually does not interfere with conception but in some cases it can affect the baby, especially if there is not enough room for the baby to grow. In this case you may not be able to carry the baby full-term. Sometimes a uterus is unicornuate and described as "banana shaped" - this could be your situation as well, since a "c" would be similar in shape. You might get more information under the description of unicornuate uterus but I can't say for sure this is your situation. Ask your doctor for clarification.
Best wishes.
