8 yr old with strep throat, persistant cough, swollen chest

My eight year old was diagnosed with strep throat and now has swollen area in the strenum area. She said it is not sore. It feels like a swollen muscle. Should she seek immediate attention?

Hello,
Strep infection requires treatment which I assume she is getting since you have the diagnosis. I would watch the other symptom to see if it subsides. I suspect it could be some swollen lymph nodes present because she is fighting infection. If it persists, see her pediatrician.
