Leg Bumps

I have what looks like inverted hair folicles - there are bumps all over my legs and if you pick at them a hair folicle does emerge. I noticed it about 9 years ago or so shortly after the birth of my 3rd child. I've lived with it but it's getting annoying.

They seem to go away when I use my electric razor but just after finishing their reappear. My legs - even after just shaving - never seem smooth. They definitely don't look smooth which makes me self concious.

I do have bumps on the backs of my arms but those appear to be more of an acne than the same as these.

Anything I can do?

I think I have the same thing your talking about. I'm 21 now and II've probably been getting it since I was about 17. I get like these little bumps on my thighs(the back and sides), also on my butt and back of my arms. They always seem to go away and come back at various times and I have no clue what it is, and it drives me crazy, like you said it makes me self conscious. Have you found out what it is at all? I asked my doctor a while back and she said it looked like a very small case of eczema however you spell it. But I'm not sure I believe that. :?
