Is there any Hyperhidrosis Home remedies?

Postby janelle511 » Thu Aug 19, 2004 3:34 pm

My Boyfriend is a healthy male of 25 with what I beleive to have Hyperhidrosis. He's 6 foot, 200 lbs. and does not smoke or have any nervous or panic disorders. He sweats 90% of the time. Each night before bed he will fall asleep dry with fans blowing, window open, etc.. and awake drenched in sweat. He sweats mostly on his face, chest & back! Each morning he will have to wash his sheets because they are so soaked with sweat.

Is there any home remedies to reduce the amount of sweat? :?:

I don't know of any, but im basicly a professional on this condition, seeing as ive tried everything. Does he sweat under his arms alot during the day? Or his hands and feet? The first stttep to treating hyperhidrosis is aluminum choride. The only problem with this is that the sweat glands on other parts of the body are harder to penetrate. It can also give chemical burns. It didn't even work for my underarms, but it can affect people diffrently. I know all this from expereance.
