genital warts spread to facial area?

Hi, my current girlfriend has been previously diagnosed with hpv.she has no visible warts at present but i have developed a wart on the outside of my nose?is this possible its from oral sex? thanks for you time.my doctors was quite unhelpful.

Hello,HPV viruses cause warts inluding the common plane warts and the sexually transmitted condylomata,ie genital warts.Whie the earlier one can get transmitted easily the genital wart to occur on the face is most unlikely.What probably you have are flat warts,and not related to genital warts.Best wishes.
