I have previously had 2 pneumothoraxes, the last one being in 1996 when I was operated on to stop it happening again. Since then I have not had any problems. However I am currently travelling and am looking at climbing a mountain which is roughly 6000m high. Is it dangerous for me to be at this altitude having had the pneumothoraxes before or with the operation is there no more risk?
