Dear Doctor, receintly I changed doctors. When I went in for my first Doctors visit, my doctor did a complete blood profile right before leaving for vacation. My wife droped by and picked up my Test Results too find ten or so abnormal results. Those results are as follows;

1. GGT 181
2. ALT (SGPT) 65
3. Triglycarides 276
4. Cholesterol. Total 244
5. HDL Cholesterol 30
6. T. Chol/HDL Ratio 8.1
7. LDL Cholesterol Calc 159
8. Estimated CHD Risk 1.6
9. White Blood Cell WBC Count 14.7
10. Neutrophils (Absolute) 10.6

Everything else was in the normal ranges. Can you tell me what this indicates to you?

Sincerely,
David

BLOOD TEST ABNORMALITIES

Postby Dr. Anthony Solomon » Sun Jul 10, 2005 7:58 am

I require the following information to be able to assist you:
your age, current medications if any, amount of alcohol intake if any, Body Mass Index (if you do not know this, provide your weight and height), history of any liver or cardiac diseases.

You may have provided the information in your profile, but I am unable to access the page.

Meanwhile, your results show mild liver dysfunction in 1 and 2, abnormal lipid profile in 3 to 7, bacterial infection in 9 and 10.
