Hello,
Hepatitis B is transmitted by direct contact with infectious blood, semen, and body fluids through sexual activity with an infected person, shared contaminated needles (in drug abusers), or from an infected mother to her baby.
Hepatitis C is transmitted mainly by blood through shared contaminated needles or blood transfusion.
Ingestion of fecally (stool) contaminated food or a drink on the other hand is the way to catch
hepatitis A infections.
Hope you find this information useful and reassuring.
Best regards.
