No offense but I would just like to correct the article which said that the Philippines was among the countries included in the outbreak of SARS. Until 2 weeks ago, the first ever case of SARs in the country was a Filipina who came from Canada, ( she was a nursing attendant) who came to visit her father diagnosed with terminal colon cancer. Incidentally, this overseas F  ilipino worker infected her father hence the first ever local case was the father. Close contacts of these deceased Filipinos had been quarantined and so far they were cleared. There were suspected cases of SARS but they were from countries hit by the outbreak like Hong Kong and Canada. To date, no other local cases were diagnosed as SARS therefore the Philippines should not be included in the list of countries hit with the outbreak.
