CAT reaction to codeine, esp. in women

Postby momalleybsn » Wed Dec 03, 2003 9:59 pm

Has anyone heard of this CAT reaction to codeine? Can you tell me why it is predominantly seen in women...I am told it's an "old" medical term. Any help would be greatfully appreciated :D

No I haven't heard anything about that. Can you elaborate on the topic a bit more?

I wish I could elaborate...It's an "extra credit" term that my professor gave us to look up....I've got everyone I know working on it, and I keep coming up empty....

I realize this message was posted awhile back, but I am now looking for this same answer as extra credit in my nursing class and am curious to know if you have found an answer and would be willing to share if you did?
