my 17yr old son had a bad heache,which led to 2 days of vomiting and diarreha,the voimiting has stopped and the fever has broke but the diarreha and abdominal pain our still there 6 days later and refuses to go to the er to have blood work. which his doctor thiinks is more than a stomach virus. any ideas to what is may be

The complaints you describe are consistent with viral gastroenteritis. Symptoms might persist for a total of 2 weeks. However bear in mind that there are also other causes for enteritis that might need specific treatment, so use sound judgement upon that.
