i am 22/f I have pain behind my lower sternum. Its like my esophogus or something. It been hapening alot. Its not just when i eat either. Now my cousin has this thing where her stumach goes behind the sternum. Im not sure if thats what it is.

Hello,
I would be unable to assess your condition given the limitations of the internet. Do you complain of heartburn? It could be dyspepsia a very common condition that could be related to stress. Do you have difficulty swallowing? Pain in that area can be due to many causes.
The disease your cousin seems to have is known as hiatus hernia. I doubt that would be the cause of your symptoms. In any case a medical examination is in order.
