I am a 20 year old female. I have a colonoscopy this week and I am having my menstraul cycle. Is it ok to have the test during this time??

Hi,
I'm not a doctor but I just had one day a few weeks ago. In the pamplet they gave me it said having your menstrual cycle does no affect the test in any way. So I think you are okay! Good luck with your test.

Menstuation is not a direct contraindication for colonoscopy.
Just make it a point to tell your doctor beforehand about the periods.
