31 year old female experiencing chronic backache (not muscle); ache is located on the right side of my back directly under/behind my ribcage. Chronic = several months to 2 years, constant dull ache during the day (more annoying than painful) and more uncomfortable/painful at night when lying down absolutely cannot lie on my left side. I have a personal history of heartburn, diarrhea and/or constipation which I believe is IBS but has never been officially diagnosed. Father has similar issues. There are no other family issues that I am aware of. Doctors have been no help to me at all. I had a CAT scan and lots of blood tests, very low cortisol levels for a brief period of time that resolved. Nothing else I can think of. I honestly need a different perspective on this.
