I am a 49 year old female in good general health. For the past week I have felt a twitching in my right abdomen. I have had two children and the twitching I have now feels the same as a fetus kicking. I know that I am not pregnant. There is no pain accompanying the jumping but it is driving me crazy. It jumps constantly. What can it be?

Hi Pammie916,
You may be having some muscle twitching. This can happen if you have an electrolyte abnormality such as low potassium or low calcium. It can also happen if there has been some trauma to the area and the muscle is irritated.
If your symptoms persist your doctor can likely run some tests to help figure out what is going on.
Best wishes.
