my friend is having pain around his belly button and some bleeding. the bleeding has happened before with a discharge and an odor.could you give me general possibilities on what this might be?

 Hi msblenda,
Umbilical bleeding, discharge and odor, generally speaking, indicates an underlying infection and warrants further evaluation by a physician. I would very strongly encourage your friend to seek medical attention. Best wishes.
