I have this pain above my sternum. it's not in my chest but about middle ways between my chest and sternum. the pain doesn't go away sometimes its more painful than other times, if i move a certain way it hurts more. it started saturday evening and hasn't stopped. i went to the ER the only tests they done were urine and blood samples. they gave me a GI cocktail and told me it was acid reflux. the pain is still there, it sorta feels like a tight muscle. is this acid reflux?

Hello, It certainly sounds like acid reflux to me. Hopefully the medications will be helpful for you.
Best wishes.
