My husband has had abdominal pain and vomiting for approximiately five years on and off. This has been one of the longest stints, lasting for two weeks. Strangely the symptoms come every other day without fail. He will vomit all day long and then he has severe pain in his abdominal and stomach region - He describes the pain as a towel being rung as tightly as possible as well as sharp pains like a kinfe stabing in him. He has also described them as labor pains (I had our son two years ago). What could this be?

Hello,
Has your husband been checked by a physician? Several diseases can cause your husband's presentation from diseases of the stomach, gall bladder, pancreas or even liver. Classically this could be a gall stone leading to biliary pain.
Please keep us updated.
